Australia: Spatial Analysis of Urban Fires PhD Scholarship
The Urban and Regional Analysis Research Program within the UQ Social Research Centre, Institute of Social Science Research (ISSR), University of Queensland, has a scholarship available for candidates with a strong background in quantitative analysis in the social sciences; Geographical Information Systems based analysis would be especially relevant, & an interest in policy and planning would be an advantage. The specific topic to be undertaken by the candidate will be developed in collaboration with the research team. It will explore the spatial and temporal analysis of emergency services data forming part of a larger research project. You will be located in the urban and regional analysis research program group within ISSR.
